Sunny completed his Bachelor of Commerce degree in 1999 with double major in accounting and finance from University of Northern British Columbia. Subsequent to this, he started articling with international firm BDO Dunwoody. Sunny received his Chartered Accountant designation in 2001. During his time in Calgary with BDO Dunwoody he had the opportunity to work with various different types of clients and industries including large public company audits, not for profit organizations and small to mid-size businesses.
Sunny also completed his in-depth tax courses in 2005 while working at BDO Dunwoody tax department in Edmonton. During this time he had the opportunity to gain experience related to various tax planning strategies, complicated tax issues and returns. He also worked as a tax manager at one of the public companies in oil and gas sector.
In 2008 Sunny started his own public accounting practice. His practice focuses on small to mid-size businesses in almost all the sectors. With over 14 years of experience in accounting and tax he can provide you with sound and effective advice.
Sunny is more than a regular accountant you would come to think of. With his direct involvement in various businesses he understands the entrepreneurial side and point view of his clients. He understands the challenges and requirements of businessmen as he has hands on experience in his own businesses. His goal has been to provide excellent, reliable advice for a competitive price.
